i cannot understand well the play by Caryl Churchill 'Top Girls' i'll be grateful if anyone could help. Thanks!:)

I was taught the play when I was in university. The main theme is that through the stories of those different women, coming from different countries- and thus, different cultures- different ages, different family backgrounds, we can detect that there are more efforts to be made to improve woman's position and condition in society. Notice how each woman is being exploited, whether in the literal or the figurative sense of the word, by her father, for example, her husband, the career- craving society, and so on.
