Well, TiGGeR LoVer...the best advice I can give you, as a Literature teacher, is to actually read the novel.
The best defense in a Lit exam, is strong knowledge of the text. That way, no matter what questions come, you'll have full knowledge of the text, and you'll be able to answer confidently.
Happy reading!

I am not sure how you can be confused if you have read the book. Maybe it might be an idea to start over and read it slowly making sure you understand it as you go.
Yeah, seriously, her plot and characters aren't too difficult. Perhaps this diagram may be of help to you though. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Image:Pride_and_Prejudice_Character_Map.png

I love Pride and Prejudice..Austen's work is simply amazing. Such exceptional use of free indirect speech..sharp social commentary and literary realism...quick wit..sardonic humor..indeed very burlesque lol . I sometimes wonder if she were alive today and could see how well her work has progressed throughout history..to know her writing is so transcendent. Indeed she's a great pioneer in English liteature and to all female novelists. :)
