Hello, literature world!

I am a freshman in college in the Bay Area, who has always loved to read! And write. But since I read the works of the masters (classics ;D), I don't have huge confidence in my own abilities. So I love to pick apart other people's work!
I guess since I admire all the good that human nature has to offer--its character, courage, integrity, courtesy, beauty, imagination and the like--I'll willingly sort through some of the bad to get to it in whatever I'm reading. I do my best to be adventurous and I always learn something new from everything I read!
