I need help finding an old poem. There are two characters in the poem. A traveler or stranger and a citizen of the city. As they stand looking down on the city, the stranger asks what manner of city it is. The wise citizen asks the stranger what manner of city he just came from and says that the stranger will find this one much the same. Indicating that a place is what the individual makes of it. I have someone who needs to read this!
