That writing is adventurous is an open-secret, something that induces someone to write. But I wonder what made people to choose this job from myriad others notwithstanding the fact that it does not pay them for all that they do dedicatedly and self-sacrificially, for we know most of writers if they take on the profession / career of writing are underpaid lots in point of fact. Yet the mockery is that despite it is underpaying and unsatisfying more and more people are hooked to it. I do not know for sure what hooked me to this activity in the face of all the difficulties I have to undergo while writing. Indeed it is really a big challenge to be a writer and to outstand from the majority and to prove yourself to the world that you have something to offer is a matter of test or ordeal in life.
I do not how it goes exactly in developed economies, in poor countries those who take to the writing profession will have to suffer more often than not. The meager incomes writers get can not help them with their basic needs and as a result they will starve and be famished.
Therefore writing is at one end something that thrills you and excites your senses but in reality when it comes to dealing with day to day realities it thwarts you.
I want to ask you what brings you to writing of all other lucrative or rewarding occupations?
