I love the autumn. The weather is so nice and everything smells good. I love the clothes and food that go with fall. Nature hikes are more enjoyable and the colors are all of my favorites. It gets dark a little earlier and that is also nice. A cup of coco or tea on the porch is so pleasant and the night sky in the fall (and winter) is beautiful. This is my favorite time of year, I bust with life and joy.
What is your favorite season, and why?

I will say autumn has grown on me over time. But spring is still my favorite. It comes after winter and all the barren landscape regnerates beautifully and I enjoy the beginning of gardening and finally being out doors. :) Actually I like all the seasons except winter.

Yeah, winter stinks! My feet freeze and we are so far out in the country that whenever there is a power outage we are last to be restored. It wouldn't be so bad if I could just stay inside for the entire season and never even set foot out. caring for farm animals is no fun in winter either.

I picked fall. It used to be summer, but I got older. Plus, there's nothing like the leaves in the mountains here. It's gorgeous.

In fact I do not choose one particular season for we want change of season, variety not the monotony of one.

I like the fall and winter. Fall for the changing of colors on the trees and winter for the snow. I may be the only one who likes the snow!!

do you get bad snow in NY? We get some deep snow and because most of the population is rural we are completely immobilized. Ice is worse than snow, it’s the ice that causes power outages. As much as I love this “old fashioned” lifestyle we have I do love electricity. Our water comes from a well so if we are out of power we are also out of water. Going without a shower is one thing, but not being able to flush is pretty rough.
We got a lot of wind from Ike and over 100,000 in Arkansas are without power. My husband cut trees all afternoon and I guess that’s what he will be doing for the next couple of weeks.

Another fall person here.
I like the fall and winter. Fall for the changing of colors on the trees and winter for the snow. I may be the only one who likes the snow!!
I love the snow. Of course I don't have to drive in it any more but even so I've always loved that first show fall, the big fluffy flakes, the quietness.
Summer - university is out, and the weather is right for it.

Winter, of course!
The weather is beautiful. Cold. Yes, I got Mr. Freeze in that 'Super Villain Personality Quiz'. I love walking in the cold wind with my shoulders and feet bare due to which I have to suffer from cold frequently every winter but well the mere pleasure of walking around like that compensates.
As for the power failure, we have it more during summer because of the increased amount of electricity consumption then. We have very hot summers and little electricity resources to compensate that hot weather. Anyway it's is never extremely cold here, even in winter. The area where I live never experiences snow.

Spring - all the flowers start to show, the Dawn Chorus fills out as the migrants return, the trees have that particular shade of tender green you see for only a few weeks.
No - summer - more flowers, the sun shines and it is warm enough to wear dresses instead of trousers and jumpers. (Well, perhaps not this year, we have had a summer by-pass in UK this year.)
No - autumn - misty mornings, crisp days, lovely colours, picking fruit, late flowers.
No - winter - bare branches covered with frost, drawing curtains and settling down to an early evening of reading in a comfortable chair besides a fire, a few early flowering shrubs, the first bulbs coming out. Oh, and the rain, the possibility of snow, the salt-laden wind sweeping up the estuary killing off anything tender in the garden, icy roads, coughs, colds, - so perhaps not winter after all.

I like them all for their own reasons.... But spring is my favourite seeing as my birthday is in the middle of it :D (well, the middle of our spring).
Summer is great here, it falls over Christmas. It's all hot and people go to the beach and it's a really nice time to have summer, I think.
I like curling up with a good book and a hot chocolate during winter, so I love that one too.
But with autumn, where I live... It's not that great. It's pretty, sometimes, but now most trees have been cut down and there's only one tree that loses pretty leaves :( And also the weather is weird, it's not hot but not cold and it's weird.

Due to the profoundly and dire global warming circumstances,I substantiate that there would not be a cool winter, but the very antithesis of it,hot winter. This is making all disillusioned,I know that.
And all the seasons,sigh...,does not befits me.Summer is sweltering, autumn makes no disparity, winter is apparently unfeasible and ultimately spring is the average-not sublimely sweltering.
sprinks,I accede and perceived that the weather is indeed weird enough, literally. This is weird, weird, weird.=(

I voted for winter. I love all the seasons. Summer here in sunny S.A. is wonderful and hot and it's great to kick back by the pool over weekends. I think the reason I like winter is because of what comes with it... SNOW!... Unfortunately it doesn't snow often where I live but we can easily take a two hour drive into Lesotho to enjoy the snow there. My family and I have gone overseas to Italy many a time to ski and this is something I really enjoy. It's so different to South Africa!

for the past couple of years we have been pretty lucky, no major snow storms. I don't drive in the snow unless I have to. since I don't live on a primary street we are usually last to have the street plowed. It never fails though after we shovel our driveway out, a plow will come by and block us in again. my dog absolutely loves the snow!!! she always makes me laugh when she runs around in it.
I do remember years ago we had the dreaded black ice and that was real bad. you literally could not walk outside, you skated. we had to wait until around the afternoon before the ice started to melt.
at least you only had wind from Ike and all is ok. I feel soryy for all those people that have been effected by the storm.
I'm willing to bet you don't drive in the snow. ;) Those of us that have do don'tlike it one bit.
normally I don't drive in the snow but if I have to and am able to get my car out I will

Where I live is hot, so, I would say, winter, spring and fall. Summer here is very hot. And the heat of this island it don't let me think correctly. However if was a summer in a place where was not so hot, then, I would include it! Otherwise I particularly don't like sunny days. I like clouded and dark days, or rainy days too.

Nepal is climatically a wonderful country. It is not very hot in summer and not chilling or piercing cold in winter and in point of fact it is what we call temperate or mild all the time.
In all aspect this is a paradise on earth except for its political leaders for there are instabilities looming on the nation all the time. There are short supplies of the basics of life and the sense of insecurity is rampant. Economically the country has been lagging behind.

Just try walking barefoot in winter here  I don't think you'd enjoy that :D
I voted for summer, because it's warm and my skin is usually better then. (Though I must say that this summer was a bitter disappointment - it rained far too much and there were only a couple of really warm days. Last year was much much better.) I also love the fact that there's only a couple of hours of darkness every night.
Autumn - yeah, I like ruska, when all the leaves are turning to beautiful red, yellow and orange and trees look stunning. What I don't like about autumn is the chill and the rain.
Winter - I actually do love snow, it's really beautiful (driving in the snow isn't much fun, but the good thing is that the roads are maintained pretty well where I live, so when it starts to snow, the snowploughs will almost immediately take care of it.) Other reason why I like snow so much is that it actually increases the amount of light tremendously. It really makes a difference when there's only about five hours of light a day and you only get to see the sun perhaps once a week. What I don't like about winter is the cold (if it could be just about -5 degrees [celsius] for the whole winter, that would be fine, but -20 is just horrible and if it's above 0 degrees, everything is really wet and chilly and I just hate when it rains räntä, that is wet snow.
Spring is my second favourite, it's nice when it starts to get warmer and when every day there's more light than yesterday. I don't love the beginning of spring, though. Besides November March is the ugliest month of the year. All wet, chilly and grey.

Fall has always been my favorite. There is something refreshing aobut it in Ohio. The nights get cooler, and you wake to dew on the ground. The air loses the stagnant smess of the "Dog days" of summer, and the trees start to change colors. The air is cool enough that you can wear a long sleeve shirt, but mostly you doing need more than a really light jacket. I just love it!

It used to be summer because I don't mind the heat one bit, whether I am in California, Texas, Arizona or Guatemala. I still love summer.
But it seems that right now, I love the very early autumn. The days are crisp and not too cold, and I love the evenings when you can cuddle up. There's still a slight warmth to the day here in autumn and you can still be outside. Mmm, I love it!

Mine was spring and the beginning of Summer, but when I realized that even if I stood naked or tore myself apart, i`ll still be feeling hot. While in Winter, I can dress a lot or figure out anyway to feel warm..
So as a medium solution, I now like fall the best.

I used to really like winter but now I'm not so sure, it's so cold. I've never been so cold before, back home people are still wearing bikini tops in February and i have a sweater, a sweater!
But i love fall, the leaves turn such a pretty color, never mind that my birthday happens then too.

Weather has an effect on my mood.
Summer -- I dislike. Its boiling hot and I am irritated most of the time. In Delhi summer lasts for almost 5-6 months.
Spring -- lovely weather
Autumn -- also has nice weather. But, often when autumn starts I get a sinking feeling as if something is comign to an end.
Winter -- I love winter season. On weekends I can simply enjoy the Sun, sit on the terrace all the time, eat all the seasonal fruits, nuts and other food items.
Monsoon -- I love this weather as long as I don't get wet when I am going outside; if I am done with the days work and am coming back home, then I dont mind getting wet.

Winter because of it's darkness. Most people say that darkness depresses people. but for me, darkness makes my imagination go wild. I can Write stories better and think more claerly.(Not too mention see more clearer) And most Movies and tv shows the person with darkness and is evil is my favorite. But I know not to live off darkness. For yes my favorite carictores may be dark or evil but doesn't mean I want to be the same. For I know in countries like Nigeria and other places can't find the light. THat's why we need God. Our Light and salvation. So yes, Winter is My favorite season. And Summer is too bright for me.

Winter. There's something about it that makes me think more and feel more spiritual. I like it. Plus the ocean looks so much more...full of emotion. I like chaos, I guess.
And it's when pomegranates are in season! Mmmm.

I voted for spring and autumn. If I had to choose between the two, I'd say autumn because I've spent the last couple weeks being amazed by the beauty of fall foliage. But really, those two seasons are when the weather is perfect (and the only two seasons when my birthday can take place, depending on whether I'm in the Northern/Southern hemisphere). Autumn is by far the most beautiful season imo, I always liked the feeling of innocence and rebirth that comes with spring.
Summer is a little too hot for my tastes, and winter up north is bitterly cold. The plus side is that you can snuggle under your blanket with a good book :)
