A Green Emerald

An emerald in the ocean,
hidden in the dark blue sea.
Nobody knows it's precious.
You see me as one
of the rocks,
I'm stuck at the bottom,
I'm lost in the sea.
All covered in seaweed,
you can't see I'm green.
One day I'll float
up to the surface.
One day you'll see
the shining me.
