Those Were the Days! ( A Parody!)

When the people’s voice was heard,
It did not remind us of Mortimer Snerd,
We were Computer Buddies not just nerds,
And we came here to play…
When every post was heaven-sent,
People said just what they meant,
Nothing raised an awful scent—
Those were the days…

We didn’t get mad at every single post,
We were just glad that Admin was our host—
All the friends we loved the most
Were waiting there on line each day…
Most people didn’t get the boot,
If they left they just had to scoot,
The question of banishment was moot—
Those were the days!
