Zombie Flicks

Zombie flicks. Ah, probably the only genre of film where you can do the precise thing, over and over again, only changing the names every once in a while, and still have it be an amazing and intriguing experiance. So is anyone with me on this one? :p

I always enjoy watching the chaotic, apocalyptic phase in these movies before society collapses into total anarchy with humanity nearly wiped out. I suppose that's why I really like the Dawn of the Dead movies (original and remake) with all the nifty touches in news reports about the military and LE battling zombies, martial law, emergency broadcast channels, etc. I recommend the remake Dawn of the Dead DVD for a lot of these bonus features.

Is Resident Evil and the following movies (and associated games :p) zombie flicks? I'd count it as that. As such, yeah, I agree :D
