Man is too much obsessed with life, and he is so much occupied that he becomes forgetful of the fact that he will die soon. A similar question was raised in another thread asking why man still keeps on living even if he is sure that he will die.

I think life has little to do with death. Life is never threatened by death. Death comes and life meets with it in jubiliation. Why should life should be threatened, for life is one course and death another.

At death life takes a different turn or course. Or to put it different, from death life starts another journey.

Life never ceases to exist. You or I may cease, for life permeates all entities, Life may possess another soul, or may live on the wind for a while or it assimilates into the universal spirit and it is just part of that great spirit. We often call it God.

Maybe prayers to God mean we want to be back to our original state or we want to return to the domain of our origin.

Life and death go together. The problem is with understanding the truth.
