The Real Thing!
She took me on the merry-go-round
then a roller-coaster ride.
Not at a carnival,
the real thing!
Had me so high and then,
way down so low,
my nose bleeds used up
a ton of kleenex!
She laughed, I cried.
A total reversal of positions!
I was the one left,
grasping for the brass ring.
She, ended up,
keeping the real thing!
