Three Blind Mice
Three blind mice!, three blind mice!
See how they run!, see how they run!
They all ran after the farmers wife.
She cut off their tails with a carving knife. Did you ever see such a thing in your life?! As three blind mice!

Three optically challenged members of the species mus musculus (little thief),
re-emphasized as to their number,
are recommended, by a party or parties unknown, as being suitable candidates for close observation, based on their ability to produce high speed, non-mechanically assisted locomotion,
mainly of a forwardly propelling nature.
Like the number of this species involved, this ability is, likewise, re-emphasized! For reasons, never verbalized by the narrator(?)
These rodents, travelling,
no doubt, at a high rate of speed,
decide, in unison, to direct their locomotive pursuits, in the direction of a farmers wife!
It appears that, this indefatigable, resolute women, summarily, with what is described as a large carving knife. Deftly removes the nether appendages or tails of said creatures.
Whether in one fell swoop of the blade,
or with a series of elegant strokes,
is. mercifully, left to the imagination of the reader!
Suffice it to say, that one is assured, by inference, that such a sight, approaches the unique.
For reasons, once again, unknown or obscure.
The unique happening referred to,
Is the optical deficiency of the mice involved. (Not the singular occurrence, albeit, made up of, what "talking heads", these days, wrongly refer to as a "threepeat!") Being the event that one would, reasonably, have expected being the main point and focus of interest!
