Charmed...I'm sure...what a world!
Deep down, I have the suspicion,
that it were ever thus.
Sometimes I wonder if the Devil
is up to the job!
Nothing like a master
being beaten at his own game!
I am coming around to the belief,
that God might now regret
that the Ark didn't sink,
during the forty days!
If their is ever a next time,
it will probably have
two of everything,
except humans.
Learn from your mistakes...I always say!!!

Now, who went a peed in your corn flakes this morning?
The way I heard it was
One day God called down to Noah and said: " I want you to make me a new Ark, but instead of just two decks, I want twenty this time.”
"TWENTY DECKS!" Noah exclaimed: "That’s a really big job... ”
“Well, if it’s too big for you,” God thundered, “I can always find–“
”No, no,” said Noah hastily: “I’ll do it. I’ll do it.”
"Good,” God said: “but this time I’d like it filled it up with fish."
"Fish, Lord?"
"Yes, fish,” God boomed out. “In fact, Noah, I want Carp. Wall to wall, floor to ceiling - Carp!"
“Whatever you say, Lord, but may I ask, why twenty decks and why carp?”
"Because," said God, "I always wanted a multi-storey carp ark"

Goldenrod.... a fine poem, even if it's a bit... ahem... angry. ;)

I suppose it was a good thing that none of the pairings on the old Ark were "gay" in the new sense of the word, that is!;)

Narrowly on the positive side of the convoluted story that allowed the reaching of the punch line:
"Rudolph, the red knows rain, dear!"

When I think a good rant is war-ranted, I let go with both barrels, even if the shot-gun can afford only the one delivery pipe!
