what leads to a nap

your walking around
with a bulb in the air
floating up over your head
you got something to prove
prove that your not dead
the idea is your own
for everyone to see
the thing is, you have no idea,
what your idea could be
and if you don`t know
then what can you show?
the bulb may be bright
but the filament is fading
and as soon as it comes
some bird snatches it away

look up to see a flicker
try and catch the thought
but the idea is quicker
just because the body is willing
doesn`t mean the mind is able
the muse may be lazy
but that doesn`t end your fable
you may just be crazy
then again so are we

and here it comes again
maybe this thought you can explain?
or perhaps not, but does it matter?
if you shine the glass it will still shatter
ah shatter proof glass....wait......crap
they already have that, gues it`s time for a nap...

Now there is an idea whose time has and has not come!:) The word frustration comes to mind...been there,,,done that!!!ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ......

Well, again you never stop inspiring me. I like it, but I prefer the beginning rather than the end. I like the style of it almost being a debate of what is true. To me it reflects the thought pattern of one's mind. My favorite lines have to be:
