My Profile?

OK, I have no idea how I should decorate my profile. All these new options are really cool, but I'm so undecided. Some of you have done a neat job, though a little garish here and there. :pMost of you know me a bit by now. How do you think I should decorate it that says "Not that's Virgil." :D Suggestions please.

erm, that was Lee Greenwood. I amuse myself sometimes. It's a running joke here. You might need to be from my town to get it though. sorry.

I was just trying to click on my name to see what my profile looked like, and it brought up Janine's profile. So I hit "back" and clicked on my name again (as I was the last poster in this thread) and it still brought up Janine's profile. So I clicked on one of the section headers and went back the thread via that route, and it showed that Janine was the last poster. I guess sometime between the time I actually clicked on my username and the time Janine posted her response, that link updated I guess and it brought me to Janine's profile. Interesting.

I am still in the testing mode. I have used all possible colours. I have decided to keep the colours, until I make up my mind to be sober :)

That is the spirit vheissu! just test the colors and have fun with combinations. It is easy after awhile once you know what you are actually changing. If you start with a few distinct colors then just modify them; by reviewing you page you can see what you will be changing. I still need to modify my page and play with it more. It is fun though. We should not be afraid to go ahead and experiment this week - nothing is carved in stone so it can all be deleted and begun again anyway.

Virgil, I was thinking about your page and I would do a Roman type theme - maybe a marble background in the larger areas. Or if you would prefer to keep your photo from CA, how about a CA theme - go with those colors in the photo for now...later you may want to change the photo and then you can match the colors to it again. Who knows, marble or some stone texture might work well with the Santa Barabara scene or maybe red tile like their roofs. Think theme and you will come up with something dazzling. I think LadyWentworth did this with hers and made it very effective. It reminds me of "The Phantom of the Opera" and her theatrical interests. I was trying to go along with a feeling of the sea but not sure that I actually have accomplished that yet. I have to work on that background and the photo album - that looks like great fun!

I've been thinking about this one. I think you need a background of a page of davinci's notebooks, where he has all the drawings, and stuff or like everybody else said an American Flag.

Only thing about the DaVinci theme is that Admin has the artist's 'Vitruvian Man' as his avy. I think an Italian theme would suit Virgil well though; but keep it subtle and textural. That would look very classy and intelligent like our Virgil is....also very engineering-like....haha

I honestly don't know what would suit Virgil. But it should be something very...artistic, and intelligent (I still don't know how a background can be intelligent...lol). I think it just has to be something unique somehow. I know I'm NOT helping here, but I can get some ideas by tomorrow :D

Yes, Papaya, those are good ones and are real 'engineery' don't you think? Maybe he could use both someway in the page - like one as a background and one as a smaller photo somewhere. The coloring might offset each other nicely.
