A power house of muscles.
He was big and burly,
a power house of muscles,
bent on hankering me at first
just because I am not
as strong as him,
him a shameless bully,
a Goliath of modern times
and me a weak Jack on earth
well, he beat me and won't stop
i started bleeding from the nose
hoping he would stop or
god may come to my rescue,
but nothing of the two happened
I was lost;
I called for god's help
but not a leaf stirred,
not a sound was heard
except the bang bang
the bully bade on me;
suddenly, something strange
happened;
recollecting all my energy
I picked up a stone
as Jack the Giant Killer had
done to overcome his
adversity in the past
and hurled it on the face
of that dirty coward
the stone hit at his temple
and made him swoon
and fall to the ground
unconscious;
I looked around
all around
but it was all void
there was neither god
nor any of his signs
no angels, no jinns,
nothing to save
a person from adversity
All this made me think
there may be god and angels
jinns and fairies,
but if an adversity befalls you
better depend on yourself
your arms and limbs
for your safety, your life;
if you don't it may be too late
for the celestial succor to come
and get you out of the bog
before you are totally sunk!:D :)
