Yes, I will be watching. Last year in Yangshou I went to see a show that was choreographed by the man who is arranging the Opening Ceremony for the Olympics. The framework for the show was a dramatisiation of a local legend and it was the most amazing spectacle I have ever seen. The setting helped: the action took place on a lake with a backdrop of mountains. All the actors were on bamboo rafts, there were dozens of rafts moving in time to the music. For some scenes, pontoons were swung out over the water for the actors and dancers to move on, all reflected in the water. There were processions along the shores of the lake, animals as well as people, not just horses and camels but herds of sheep and goats as well. This man, whose name I am ashamed to say I can't remember is a master at choreographing large numbers of people and creating moving pictures with them. I can't wait to see what he is going to do with the Opening Ceremony.

it was just over,i mean the opening ceremony........

I think this is a big mascarade, a big shame, when we see how the Chinese government treats the Thibetans, how they exploited poor Chinese guys to build the buildings for the games, how these poor guys were underpaid and nobody cared about their work conditions, how people have no right to speak their mind, how they even dared getting people out of their houses just to build the olympic village!

That is a big shame and I don't understand how people can have fun at the ceremony or watching the games. This is sad indeed.
