This is in the middle of something that I need a little help on (please). But all you really need to know is the main charactar here is insane, she is a but hysterical at this part. Her brother was in a terrible car crash and died. Hope that's enough, if not say so. Thanks!!

“No Elowyn!” shouted a familiar voice over splashing raindrops. Elowyn could hear somebody climb out of a car sprinting toward her.

Elowyn looked up to see her boyfriend, Storm Bellamy, slip past a maze of cars to reach her. She smiled as she saw him standing there, armed in his navy blue uniform. Elowyn peeled her eyes away from Storm to look at the man as she continued to hold the gun on him.

“Storm, turn away for a moment,” ordered Elowyn. “I don’t want you to see this.” Storm took a few steps closer to Elowyn, but she swiftly, turned the weapon on him. “GET AWAY!” she screamed at Storm. “This is between me and my brother’s murderer.”

Storm put his hands up as a sign of surrender. Then he cautiously pulled his gun out of its holster and laid it on the ground. He stood up raising both hands into the air. “Don’t shoot,” ordered Storm in a gentle voice. “Look the only reason why I am here is to bring you home to safety.” He came closer and closer to Elowyn as she aimed the gun at him. After a few seconds, Elowyn put it back against the man’s head. “Elowyn, he did not kill your brother! Trust me, I was the first on the scene.”

Elowyn did not pull the gun away from the man’s head as she rubbed her one finger against the trigger. “LIAR!” she screamed.

“I’m not lying! You can trust me-me, Storm,” explained Storm in while smiling. He came closer to Elowyn as she continued to finger the trigger. Storm helped the man to his feet and allowed him to leave, but Elowyn grabbed onto him.

Storm pushed his hand against Elowyn’s gun until it pointed toward the ground. “No, Elowyn,” he whispered to her. Elowyn released the man and allowed him to escape. She stood there gazing into her boyfriend’s liquid sapphire eyes. “Elowyn, just release the weapon, you are going to be fine. Nobody killed Alec…trust me on this one. If you want me to, I’ll explain everything to you later.”

“Why should I trust you?” hissed Elowyn. She continued to rub her finger against the trigger. “You act as if you know everything when you are only human.”

“You are paranoid right now,” replied Storm. “Just give me the weapon before you make a mistake that you will regret later.”

“Regret? Why would I regret taking revenge?” she barked at him. “I am only here to take the life of the man who took the life of my brother. How will I regret that? You know the rule, an eye for an eye.”

“Hush Elowyn, settle down,” whispered Storm. He reached a hand toward her but she slapped his hand away. Storm took in a deep breathe as he struggled to find the perfect words to persuade Elowyn. “We can go to lunch now if you want to. If you kill somebody you won’t be able to do anything like that.” Elowyn stood there chewing her bottom lip with vengeance on her mind. “Elowyn, listen to me, you are about to make a huge mistake that is going to be worthless because nobody killed your brother!”

Elowyn jerked her hand away from Storm and pressed the gun against the flesh that covered his rib cage. The color blanched from his face as he stood there staring at the wrong end of the gun. A single tear glinted at the corner of Elowyn’s eye. “You killed him, Storm, didn’t you? You killed my brother! It was you! Wasn’t it?”

“No, no I didn’t kill him, Elowyn. I didn’t kill anybody,” replied Storm as he tried to remain calm. “I could never kill a person out of cold blood, and you know that.” He paused. “Elowyn, I would never hurt Alec…he was a good guy who he made mistakes…also he was your brother. Why would I harm your family, Elowyn? I love you…it makes no sense. If I hurt your family, then I’ll hurt you….Elowyn, I love you.”

Elowyn ignored Storm’s pleas as she pulled the trigger sending a bullet into Storm. A peculiar silence devoured all sound and she just stood there watching him fall back against a car. Storm weakly used the car for support while he pressed his one hand against the grisly bullet wound. Pain seared his face as he slid to the ground.

Elowyn stood there fearfully gawking at Storm, her love. She suddenly realized what heinous crime she had committed; it was all for nothing. Tears mixed with raindrops obscured her vision as she grabbed onto Storm. She looked down as his face while he hung in her arms in excorticating pain. He was dying. He was actually dying all because of her!

“No…no…no… cried Elowyn, but oddly she could not shatter the peculiar silence. She wiped away her tears so that she could gaze upon Storm’s angelic porcelain face. Elowyn continued to grip the gun as she knelt beside Storm. She watched as his life poured out onto the ground all around her. Elowyn took in a deep breathe before leaning over Storm. She meet his lips one last time before he left her forever. Elowyn took in a deep breathe before leaning over Storm. She met his lips one last time before he passed away into the after life. All she knew was that, she was not ready to surrender him to a different world.

“STORM!” shrieked Elowyn, but it was impossible to break the peculiar silence. She continued to hold Storm in one arm while holding onto the gun with her other hand. Elowyn buried her faced into his hair while clutching his body ignoring the blood that poured onto her. She held the nozzle of the gun against the side of her head. Elowyn squeezed her eyes shut as she fingered the trigger while whispering one final prayer for forgiveness.

However, she was unable to pull the trigger of the gun because a man knocked her to the ground. The man began to yell at her except Elowyn only felt his hot breathe against her skin as she laid underneath his tight grip. She looked around to see a couple of medics around Storm.

Elowyn laid there watching him as tears once again blurred her vision. She attempted to leave the damp ground, but whoever held her down was too strong for her. The peculiar silence finally shattered. “He’s dead,” announced one of the medics.

Elowyn’s heart exploded at those horrific words as she started to scream from the pain. She laid on the ground sobbing. “STORM!” she shrieked. Soon she felt herself pulled to her feet as she looked down at Storm. His cold corpse was lifted onto a stretcher where he was covered by a white sheet. “STORM! Storm! Storm…” Elowyn soon felt her voice leave as the man dragged her away from the murder scene. She killed Storm-Storm Bellamy, her boyfriend. For nothing. And now she was going to be cursed to live with this burden of guilt for an eternity.

Humn, one of the main problems I see here plot-wise is the lack of sympathy I felt for either of the main characters. I honestly didn't care whether Storm lived or died - or Elowyn for that matter. There was no context to put this story in, nothing that made them more than words on a page.

Also, the setting is a problem. I never got a clear idea of where they were, so it was hard to picture the scene in my head.
