Here's the game. Choose any line from any film that you would pay good money to see Keanu Reeves deliver.
My choice: From The Black Shield of Falworth, Tony Curtis's immortal:
"Yonda lies the castle of my faddah!"
Sends chills up my spine just thinking about it.
 actually, he's a pretty wooden actor, but damn he looks good, I wouldn't care what he was saying.

Err ... that's the joke.
Yes I realised this was a joke after I read Basil's brilliant summation of him in another post
Okay, so, let's see, how about, that line from Higlander, capes aflow, in his utmost wavery sqeeky sotto voce
There can be only one!

I like it. Here's my last one:
"Rosebud ... "

Ahh, and here I thought only future generations would be able to fully comprehend the brilliance of my ruminations regarding Keanu Reeves. So flattering to receive recognition in one's lifetime . . .
Honestly, when my thoughts turn to Keanu (as they are wont to do), I like to think of him in terms of roles. For instance, here's a line that would almost certainly be an instant Keanu Klassic:
"Mrs. Robinson, you're trying to seduce me."
But then, think of the sublime pleasure that The Graduate would be if Keanu were in every scene as Ben. Picture him beating on the glass shouting, "Elaine! Elaine!" Think of that fantastic concluding shot on the bus when all the emotion leaves Ben's face, and you're left wondering just what on God's green earth is going through his mind--Keanu would totally nail that scene (it'd be that same blank look he always has on his face).
Or think of him as Vincent in Pulp Fiction: "But you know the funniest thing about Europe? It's the little differences . . ." Or in Deniro's role in Taxi Driver: "You talkin' to me? You talkin' to me? Well, I'm the only one here . . . " Or as Ash in Army of Darkness. Or Antonius Blok in The Seventh Seal. Or . . . ok I'll stop now.

Scarlett (JLo?) : Rhett, Rhett... Rhett, if you go, where shall I go? What shall I do?
Rhett Butler (Keanu) : Frankly, my dear, I don't give a damn.
(or alternatively: Uhm..Frankly..uhm...I don't uhm...give a damn, dude...uhm...)

Keanu reprising Yul Brynner's role in The Ten Commandments:
"Duuuude, that God of theirs is a poor general to leave 'em like NO retreat eh!"

ehmm some lines delivered by Lester Burnham (Kevin Spacey) in American Beauty.
I don' feel like disclosing them, since the authorities around here said that all posts should be 'decent' enough to be read by people of all ages.
I just give the hint: It's the lines spoken in the bedroom after Lester's wife caught him doing this "thing" and, though at first he denied it, he admitted it and then said "from now on, the new me *** off when he feels ****, coz obviously you're not helping me in that department".

Good idea! I love that movie!
Unfortunately, I still cannot see any movie with Keanu Reaves without thinking of Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure; even in The Matrix, I just wait for him to come out of a phone booth in grunge-related clothes and say "Woah, dude!"
A line that did come to mind, however, comes from Fight Club, though I think Edward Norton performed an excellent job: "People are always asking me if I know Tyler Durden."

I think it's Bill and Ted's Boguos (spell check) Journey.. Station that odd creature. And not Excellent Adventure..Or perhaps you're talking about another movie?

I think Keannu is too cool to played that role. I'd prefer him to be Tyler himself and said:
You're not how much money you have in the bank
You're not the car you drive
You're not your job
You're not your fu**ing khakis
You're the all singing all dancing crap of the world
How's that sound?

But on second thought, maybe you're right. Maybe it'd be interesting to see the cool Keannu played the role as a "geek" :)
I think Keanu is too cool to played that role.
Yes, I like your idea more; I like Brad Pitt's irreplacable role in Fight Club, but Keanu Reaves seems to have that same dry, "cool" attitude about him.

"I think this might be the beginning of a beautiful friendship" from Casablanca
But actually I think Keanu Reeves is really good in the movies directed by Gus van Sant. I think he is great in "My own private Idaho".

Illogical.
We MUST hear him say, "He's dead, Jim."

Hooorrrraaaaaaaaaaaaayyyy!!!!!!!!
"KEANU Reeves was added to the Hollywood Walk Of Fame on Monday.
The hunky actor said: "It's lovely to be here with so many people who I've gone through this journey so far with - friends, people I've worked with... It's nice to be able to be here and share it."
