The Requirements of Life

Simple actions required to survive;
Breathing, drinking, sleeping, eating.
Perhaps a bit of entertainment too.
But no one ever thinks of things,
Which enliven the very soul.

I love this idea and your poem. I think it would be strong if you alluded to things that enliven the soul or that we require to live, with a metaphor or simile.
