I have read a quote from Eisenstein, Reality is an illusion, albeit how persistent it is. I got really moved by the fact that it has lots of meanings and substances that are greatly analogous to what we read in eastern philosophy. In the east we are seeking for something which is beyond realities, or perceived realities, and what we see or come across are perceived realities. Realities are layered, and we will come upon many realities, one after another in a chain, and yet all are evaporate at the end of the day, and we are simply deceived in the name of truth.

After all nothing remains, and what we call beauty is also a kind of illusion, and what we call light is also an illusion, and all have temporary or short lived effects on us, and after a while we move to another layer something akin to what we come across when we peel an onion with overlapping layers.

In life nothing you achieve is a realty, and all are ephemeral.
