The Sheep and the Shepherd
With the Almighty Leopard
Laugh at the Spider's joke,
"None can deny,
there's no greater than I,
and I am the best there will ever be."
But the little old Shepherd
looked at the Leopard
then glanced at the Spider
And said,
"If you're greater than all,
whats Sheep to be called,
cause he is the best,
more better than the rest,
and what you say is false."
But the Almighty Leopard,
looked to the Shepherd,
and began to grin from ear to ear.
"If Sheep is best
more better than the rest
than he should be the one on whom I shall dine!"
But the sheep,
Thus silent
Goes awry,
and says,
"If I am to die, let me simmer and fry,
and we shall take a vote.
If I taste best,
more better than the rest,
than I am the best there will ever be!"
So the little old Shepherd,
nods to the Leopard
and his grin continues to stretch.
So Sheep is than fried,
Spider than cries, and the moral is finally learned.

Sheep is best,
more better than the rest,
and only better when simmered and fried.

xDD I wrote this poem a long time ago. Like when I was 12 or something. I don't know how many times I've written and rewritten it only to lose that copy and just rewrite it from the top of my head.

I'm surprised that it still resembles the original poem so much, wherever that one went.

That's funny. Is that where you got your username from? I love reading stuff I wrote as a kid. Talk about a window into the past.
