The volcano of emotions
Burst free of its shackles
Enormous eruption
Destructive as the fires of hell

Disconnected thoughts
Of dreams I once lived in
Drift down like ashes
Clouding my mind

Poisonous memories
Of things best left forgotten
Drift in on the breezes
Death in the air

A new day is blooming
Resurrection from the ashes
Dawn of a new life
Freedom from my cares

Rain on my face
Washes away the bleak teardrops
My heart leaps within me
Like a carefree fawn...

It is like a second coming I have read somewhere, Rebirth or resurrection of course shedding all that is old and obsolete.
