Spawn was introduced in '91; Watchmen in the mid 80's and Wolverine was one of the earlier additions to the X-men. Hmmm ... Did you stop reading comic Virg?:eek2:

I don't read them as much myself, but I try to keep up with some of the graphic novels. Alex Ross' work, Alan Moore's work and Miller's the Dark Night Returns are great. The only recent comic I got into was Marvel's Civil War series. The storyline seemed to be recycled Watchmen, but I'm more familiar with Marvel's characters than the Charlton stuff Moore drew from so it resonated in that regard.

Well I know it's "Superhero" weekend.... But I'm going with a sidekick :D! They're important too.... Anyhow the first one I thought of was Fallout Boy... Thus.... he'll be my avatar for a while then!! :D He does have super powers so hopefully thats okay then :D

I was 3 hours from the midnight premiere before I realized I had to work today!!!!!!! There was no way I could get out of hte house, my dad put his foot downnnnn. It was depressing like...CRAZY! My friend went and said it owned super face!!!

Iron Man was the greatest movie ever!!! I skipped exam day for it, so thank goodness it was bad as* and super hard core. Rober Downey Jr. is amazing, on like, 60000 different levels.

The Hulk is so freaking awesome. Edward Norton kicked super as*.

(Btw, these are based off of movies. As for Comics, Batman, The Incredible Hulk, and X-Men owned super face)

Hey! Where's Aquaman? Not that he is a favorite of mine or anything. I just noticed he wasn't included. :)

OK. Well, I had to change my avatar to the DC Comics logo. I have to show my support for all of them. :) I did vote on the only two Marvel characters that I ever really liked (The Incredible Hulk and Captain America). I voted for my DC faves, too. :D Even though I voted for more than one, there is still only one that tops them all.

THE MAN OF STEEL

There are many reasons that I prefer him but I will keep this short. He has been my life-long favorite out of all the heros. He is nearly perfect (curse you kryptonite!!!) in every way. ;) Of course he has the comics, cartoons, films and 3 major TV shows. Personally, I have always felt that "Superman II" is the best superhero movie ever. Just my opinion, of course. :D He has the second best film theme music ever (next to the "Raiders March"):

(I especially like it when the music mellows out :) This music just reminds me of my childhood :) )

One thing that he has, that others don't, which completely stands out to me, is a Broadway musical. :D "It's a Bird, It's a Plane, It's Superman" is quite entertaining. :D I like it that the best can be honored with something as great as that. :D

Astroboy! I used to watch him on Saturday morning. I loved his jet-powered boots. I watched Powerpuff Girls with my sons (they were probably watching it to put off going to bed :))-saving the world before bedtime. I loved it.

Today we got our new art assignment... We're designing superheroes!! we're turning ourselves into superheroes, so we can have whatever powers we want - and then we're designing a movie poster, featuring ourselves as superheroes!! :D
