Gerrard, Eutrope, Camillar Pratt,
was five feet tall and grotesquely fat!
Living for the love of food,
in a famished state, extremely rude!

Exploding into a sudden rage or rant,
when deprived of sufficient, sustenance!

The vast quantity of victuals
he could put away,
became a growing legend,
with each passing day!

And, if of a certain kind, perchance,
could produce quick,violent bursts,
of flatulence!

An embarrassment he would try to hide,
with a suspicious look, to either side!

G.E.C Pratt's eventual fate,
an awful outcome, sad to relate,
revolved around a bowl of soup,
in no way connected... to a "toot!"

Admittedly, the bowl was large,
holding a fulsome, three gallon charge!
A peppery brew, that bit the tongue,
teared-up the eye and hotly,
stung!

He had downed the lot, in one great pull, leaving none, for any greater fool!

Gasping for each breath of air,
his eye's took on a fixéd stare,
then they melted into his eyebrow hair!

His heart, his lungs,
they soon were toast,
he then, with a whimper,
gave up the ghost!

Idiotic...Gerrard, Eutrope, Camillar Pratt, a larger fool was ne'er begat,
to allow himself, to go like that!

To push a passion to the nth,
does not make overt, common sense!
Gourmand, gourmet, what you will,
is no excuse for overkill!

One must regard his end with consternation, Remembering...everything, within moderation!

Remembering...everything, within moderation!

Everything, I dare say, except riotous wit and fun!

I like it! Reminded me of Miniver Cheevy, child of scorn, grew lean as he assailed the seasons...

Your poems are uncommon and at times uninterpretable.
