water
A drop of water,
the most precious thing
on God's green Earth!
When held in the hand,
you hold all of life's
present, past and future.
May there never be a dearth,
of..........water!

Golden glistening drops of water.
Falling rain!
Brings that which lies dormant,
to life again!
Precious liquid.
No price too high,
for without it,
all things must die!
What call you, riches?
What think you, wealth?
What, jealous, guard you,
unto yourself?
What would you fight for,
unto the death?!
Have you the knowledge,
of what is blessed?
Give of your treasure,
the earth to seed...to reap,
and pray to God.
That the heavens...weep!
"acid rain"
The first river,
The first lake,
To test probe
Proto-earth,
Were products of an acid rain.
The likes of which,
Has never touched,
The skin of man.
Hostile...
Until a frozen
Moment in time.
This Eden.
Soon to be shattered.
Lasting, but a one second tick,
of the cosmic clock.
