French and Spanish (speaking) female writers

I am doing a research on French and Spanish (speaking) female writers who write autobiographies or about their job ("why you write" sort of thing) or created a writer character, can anyone please help?
I think Amelie Northomb did. So did Isabel Allende.

(Am interested in all writers, not necessarily contemporary)

I'm not sure how strict you are in really wanting books about the experience of writing. But there are many many pseudo-autobiographies from West African female writers in French - and many of them thematize writing, though maybe not in the way that you are looking for.

Let me know how strict or loose your interests are. Because I have a bunch of examples of books that have characters (who resemble their authors in various ways) writing journals and letters, or books where the act of writing frames the narrative although may not be continually present in it. Or where the character is a writer and is described as such but, again, it may not feature that prominently in the story overall.
