Idyll, a momentary pause.

Lovely lady,
Come sit and talk,
Or would you rather
That we walk,
On this fair, autumnal day,
And no seriousness
Shall we display.

We can tread the light,
Fantastic path
And communicate with but a laugh,
Yours tremolos, dancing whither?
Mine, a contrapuntal quiver.

Lovely lady,
Take my arm, and we shall wander
Field and farm,
Virgin forest, fallow land,
We shall stroll all, hand in hand.

Apple red your lips to meet,
Red fallen Leaves
Your feet to greet,
Shod in shoes
Or bare, seeking toes,
For all the fresh green grass that grows.

Lovely lady,
Pay no heed, to the angry voices,
Blown on distant breeze,
That would bar your path,
Like the tangleweed.

Not noticed, let it grow remote
And to our perfect day devote,
All that good feeling can promote,
Til, at the dawn,
We must return
to everything that we'd fain...spurn.

It is a good pause and we are bound to stop for the thing here is entrancing us.

Beautifully written.

Your expression embeds a mystery and that is how we observe poets.
