We all know life as living day to day. This means taking on the events that happen during each day. Life can be tough and then be as gentle as a new born baby. Just when life gets too tough to handle something good will happen. Maybe you will meet someone special or get a new job making more money. Things always seem to work out. Money does seem to be the all important thing in life anymore. Life can really be tough without any. There was a time a family could survive without money living off the land. Try to do that in this day and time and they will come and take your children. They will say you are abusing them. They know if you don't use money they can't make any themselves. It is a vicious cycle.

Flowers spring up out the ground as if someone is under it pushing them up. Fruit grows on trees as it always has. Our planet is here to provide for our needs. Have you ever just walked around and looked at the growth of plants, flowers, trees and grass. You really don't have to do much for it to grow, it just does on it's own. This is the miracle of life providing life.

As humans we are destroying our resources instead of replenishing them. We must sew what we reap. People wonder why prices are getting higher and higher, it is because we put nothing back. As the pickings keep getting thinner and thinner we will have to pay more and more. Try planting a garden in your yard and grow your own veggies and you will save a fortune. This is not to mention the feeling you attain from making something grow. Nature is a wonderful thing for us to enjoy. If we take the time to smell the roses we will sense a wonderful scent and to see them grow is even better.

We must depend on others in this day and time. If not for repairs but for food and clothing. Times are tough, yes but we have brought it on ourselves being selfish. We refuse to do for ourselves and use money to get out of things. Remember money isn't everything. Everything includes money. Plant a plant today.

I like the way the writer tries to see the simplicities of life. Today life is getting complexer and the simplicity with which our ancesrtors lived off their lands exists no longer today as a matter of fact.

Yes we are making life increasingly more and more complicated. We sophisticate life with more amounts of modernity. Modernity is not a thing of vice and viciousness, yet life has been really absolutely dark, dull and ugly with modernity.

Thanks, Blaze. I knew if anyone would appreciate my topic you would. You are so into life, far more than most I have met recently. I know some will not like that I blame it on everyone but it takes every to produce change. An individual in this day and time is just considered a crack pot and could have been believed a main of sight in the past.

There is no room to grow in todays world and we live in such rush as if there is no time left. People like the manicured grass and picket fence look but never take the time really see it what it is or plant a garden. If they have the time or money they just pay someone to do it for them.

It is too late to transcend the changes we made for a better future. Mainly because no one wants to give up the luxuries they have acquired. We say we want it better for our children. If we use all their resources and they have live in a bubble to breath what have really done for them. Hopefully because this will have a direct effect on or children's children they will realize before it is to late. I know my generation is not going to help but the thought has been planted. This is sign that maybe there will be a future for our great grand kids on earth. We, the people of today have the problem of being to busy to worry about it.

Things always seem to work out.

Hmm. A little simplistic, because they clearly don't for an enormous number of people.

Was it ever thus? Was Jesus not sold up the cross for thirty pieces of silver? Again, I think you've gone for a rhetorical answer rather than the real one. Money is just an allegory for greed, which is where the issue is - people cannot usually settle for what they need, preferring to seek what they want.

As humans we are destroying our resources instead of replenishing them. We must sew what we reap.

Agree 100%. I have a theory that intelligence is anti-evolutionary that I might bring up one day.

People wonder why prices are getting higher and higher, it is because we put nothing back.

Actually, it's because we keep improving life expectancy and the population has finally reached the apparent maximum.

This is not to mention the feeling you attain from making something grow. Nature is a wonderful thing for us to enjoy. If we take the time to smell the roses we will sense a wonderful scent and to see them grow is even better.

Damn right! Not to mention the kick kids get out of planting, growing, harvesting and eating something they grew themselves.

We must depend on others in this day and time. If not for repairs but for food and clothing. Times are tough, yes but we have brought it on ourselves being selfish. We refuse to do for ourselves and use money to get out of things. Remember money isn't everything. Everything includes money. Plant a plant today.

Absolutely.

I like the way the writer tries to see the simplicities of life. Today life is getting complexer and the simplicity with which our ancesrtors lived off their lands exists no longer today as a matter of fact.

Don't you think we just have different challenges?

I'm not sure life has gotten any more complex. Gadgets have. Even if we are faced with more complex intellectual challenges - cable or wireless? - are those challenges equal to, or greater than, the challenge of keeping one's family fed 200 - 20,000 years ago?

Those ancestors and their land had to be protected agianst predators, other humans and disease with a stick.

An individual in this day and time is just considered a crack pot and could have been believed a main of sight in the past.

But the fact that some geniuses were laughed at does not imply that all who are laughed at are geniuses. They laughed at Columbus, they laughed at Fulton, they laughed at the Wright brothers. But they also laughed at Bozo the Clown

(not saying you're a Bozo! :D )

It is too late to transcend the changes we made for a better future.

Maybe. Jury's still out.

Life is a subject most discussed and the least comprehended

Agree with the atheist and OP. However I think that there will always be large macroscopic problems too much for each individual to handle thus we elect people to hopefully look out for us. I don't think population is the problem not that I'm advocating for more but most of the terrain is not inhabited i.e. midwest U.S. In fact most people in developed nations do not have to worry about food. It is just that poorer nations suffer due to overextending their limited resources and capital by having way too many kids and conflicts. Prices getting higher is due to stagnant wages versus inflation meaning legislation usually is the deciding factor.

Life is a misnomer and the word does not describe the thing.
