He's not really, he just looks like a "tree" a little. He has some sort of condition where he got a bad infection from a cut or something and he didn't have some enzyme or whatever in his body to fix it and it turned into what he's got. Something like that.

I feel sorry for him. I hope they find a way to make life easier for him.

Oh, I remember this, I saw the whole story on a program. I thought the growth were warts or something like that. Very sad indeed.

Apparently some dermatologist went to see him and try and diagnose what it was exactly and maybe find a cure. Anyway, it had to do with his immune system and a therapy that could stop any additional growth was found, but the guy decided not to use it. The program didn't exactly say why, but it was implied that, as he was working for a circus, he thought that if he was cured he'd never find a job again...

There was another case, slightly similar, but the disease was limited only to the hands. Surgeons performed plastic surgery and well, the guy got new skin on his hands basically. Now that's some amazing plastic surgery (which is actually useful!)

yeah i thought that but seeing as others here have mentioned seeing documentries etc on him, maybe it is true and someone just put it on that site because they are sick and thought it was amusing and funny.
