I would like to say thank you to those who congratulate! :) (or who do not complain, in your case Jay :D - no essays... for the timebeing :p)

I sincerely do hope that noone will still stop using the forum due to this development as I like and enjoy everyone's company indivually here and would like to see this friendly atmosphere carry on

Sub> I would like to think that you are joking about being '...so outta here' as the Forum wouldn't be the same without you :p

Jay

Hey Scher, 999 posts? Wonder what's gonne be your 1000th post ;)... don't even think about assigning an essay or you're so gonna develop a KitKat shortage for a whole month :D

Scheher, they must have forgotten to have told you...

As a moderator, it is important that you are constantly striving for impartiality. Which means, no emoticons.

Perhaps, you want to rethink your undertaking?

Kind Regards,

Shore Dude

Take smilies from her and you're going to get to write an essay on the most boring book ever, and no amounts of KitKats promised will save you :D

Congratulations, Scher. Perhaps I will finally decide to join the book club, knowing you earned the position of moderator.
Who was the previous moderator, anyway?

subterranean

This is what I dont understand. Some time ago, I threw a suggestion about having an extra moderator (or two)..but I remember Logos commentted.."hey dude...we don't need any new Mod.." or something like that...and my thread was CLOSED!

So now we have a new Mod for a forum book club...a section where only few people participate....

How perfect is that...

I think I'll shut up now..

Chris said he was looking for a mod for the book club, now if I just remembered where I've seen it... gonna have a look and see if I can find it, then I'll give ya a linky, ok? :)
*edit*
found it, it's the last post on the page: http://www.online-literature.com/forums/showthread.php?t=3478&page=3

mono> We are all looking forward to having you in the Book Club!

And there was no specific moderator for the Club, apart from the Admin and Logos earlier.

Scheherazade's primary function here is not to police members, though she certainly can do it, but rather to manage this club and lead the discussion. Meaning make sure we get a new book every 2 months, that members get a chance to vote, etc etc since I have so often forgotten to do that.

Scherezade, congratulations! :)
I just remembered, you were so active trying to get more votes for your Vanity sky. It was so welcome that I even wanted to vote for it just to please you. GOOD LUCK!

Oh Sub, did you forget your rebellious posts here? :D Maybe that is the reason.......

Oh please don't make me laugh.

Jay
12-26-2004, 11:20 PM
Right, laughing while licking an ice cream is messy, VERY. Imagine spitting the said ice cream on someone important... like Mr Yorke for example ;). But then you get to reclaim your ice cream... and I think I better go to sleep before I hijack all the threads. *shuts up*
