dark utopia

Conjure for me a world anew,
pristine, fresh, unpoisoned dew.
Naught but the cleanest air for winds,
no future chance, of pollution's sins.

Conjure me up a world that cares
how all,
who are God's creatures fared.
That they be safe and natural there.
None penned in, so the curious might stare.

Conjure me forth, a whole new time,
with melodious song,
a surround for harmonious rhyme.
Render for me, a perfect world.
While, in catatonic withdrawal...

I lie curled!

But why, I wonder, am I the first to comment on this poem? Surely not, I hope, because I'm the only one to have read it, much less to have appreciated the mix of utopian/dystopian visions? Or the characteristically confident command of form?

Could it be perhaps that the Quadrennial World Tiddly-winks competition is in progress and I'm the only one who doesn't receive the channel that's carrying it breath-takingly alive?

What! The Quadrennial World Tiddly-winks competition is on, even as I speak! Why has no one informed me of this?!

Since I started posting on the forum I believe I have the greatest number of posts outstanding, with no comments. A record of sorts, I suppose.
A pity, as commentary is the mother's milk and life blood to a would be poet!

But I should not be surprised. I did opine that I had little to say, but many ways of saying it. Perhaps, the ways are now exhausted...:)

"one"

The God of Israel.
The God of Islam.
The God of Christianity.

All sit at the same table.

They each judge
The others' worshippers.

There are no echoes...
