I stretch my arms out to you
and embrace
the empty space
between us. The universe was not created
without the breaking of a bone
or two, a galaxy
ripped from the jaws
of some cosmic Rottweiler,
so why should it be otherwise
between us?

We came together
as easily as Monday and Tuesday
at one long, extended
midnight minute.
Why should our parting
be any the less easy?
You have your projects, I
have mine, as yet undefined.

I’m going to do my very best
to enjoy not knowing you.

This is very well said and tells so much. I couldn't tell things this way, you have such a personal way of doing it, I really recognize your voice. I love your imagery. I have a hug ready for you.

I think you had better get ready for some stormy weather, from the sound of this, your latest impressive piece.

Monday doesn't always flow so easily into Tuesday. Especially when you've been up on-call all night and have to show up at eight the next morning faking bright eyed and bushy-taildness!

Wouldn't it be great if parting with a person were just that easy...that's one of those things in the world- that once you know someone you can't unknow them, and even despite best efforts your life cannot remained unchanged by them

Fabulous command of language.

your projects, my projects...that and the tone made me think of:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PsK5Qs9Hoss and then that made me think of your poem...the one right here...or up there...you know, the one you wrote. ;)

I haven't listened to the whole of it yet but what I heard, I love. Thank you.
