This is a poem I wrote a few weeks ago about trying to understand and work with the universe hopefully it might shed some light on that subject.
The world will never be what you wanted or expected it to be…
Instead it will simply be…
With that understanding comes the battle-balance of the universe…
Growth, decay, life and death all within the complex yin/yang
Our lives are mere pawns to these elements, though we do have our parts to play
We strive against it all to do what is right or what is right at the time
And sometimes we strive to do the wrong things to feel right for a little while
Whatever the case maybe, we are striving to be human in an inhuman world
We try to work with God’s design without ever seeing the plans
This makes our plots twist and our stories unravel with time
So the question is what should we do other than just exist?
Should we attempt to understand, to plot and plan?
Or go with the flow of the battle-balance?
The answer is in the question it self, we will fight and accept, all too just exist.
