Has anyone read the short story The Little Businessman by Morley Callaghan? I read it but I don't get what the themes of the story were, can anyone help me?
It has quotes like, "It's time you learn that useless luxuries often cost a smart man his hard earned money."
"He promised himself to always have money on hand to protect what is truly valuable from the practical people in the world."
