What do you think Winston's biggest flaw is?
Like most humans - self belief. It's the David & Goliath story in real life terms; also done beautifully in a Paul Newman film, Cool Hand Luke. Almost always, the big guy beats the little guy. That's why boxing has weight divisions.

I think his biggest flaw is being sort of hypocritical; he looks down at those who are brainwashed by Big Brother, yet he allows himself to become brainwashed. He knows that he is told lies, yet he continues to allow himself to be fed more and more of them.

yes but bare in mind that he was being tortured, it illustrates just how powerful Big Brother is.
Winston enjoyed playing with fire too much, at points you can tell he really enjoys commiting thought crime, maybe just for the thrill of it- Go winston!!!:D:D:D:crash:
