How long is this book by William Blake? I saw it on Amazon.com but it said it was only like 50 pages? Any help here?

Depends if the plates are included in the book. That seems like a probable length though. If you are only interested in the text, you are better off just buying a complete poems and prose book.

My Dover edition of the illuminated Marriage of heaven and Hell has 33 pages counting the facsimile of the original illuminated text and the printed copy of the text at the end. My volume of the Collected Works of William Blake needs only 14 pages for the entire work.

JBI... Castiglione? Great choice by Raphael. One of the great portraits of all time.:thumbs_up

Yeah, I like my choice. Got both a great portrait by a great artist, and a great literary mind.

If you are looking for Blake, you are better off buying a complete poetry and prose of just the text, and then flipping online for the pictures. Otherwise you won't be able to hold all the work in your hand.

what is M+H about?
I mean I have read parts, but what is the function or the actual motive of the whole thing.....to present Heaven and Hell as two contraries or to show the need for the two....i mean that I could deduce...but I struggle with Why he writ it and the fundamental point of the whole thing...

any feedback would be good.

I hope you have read the entirety and have drawn better understandings?
