Egyptian Hell

I originally wrote this for an english school project but i thought i should see what other people think and what better place to do it than here.
I got the title name from a Command and Conquer: Zero Hour Map i made called Egyptian Hell. Anyway the stories about....actually why dont you just read it. Its pretty long and not sure if its classed as a short story but its only 9 pages in Word. Good military weapon/vehicle knowledge helps.


A sandstorm of dust is blowing across the open desert towards a top secret military facility as a small group of USMC APC’s (armoured personnel carriers) approached the facility.
There were three APC’s each with about six soldiers in it.
The lieutenant of this group was a smart-tough person who is known as
‘ Terminator’ but his actual name is John Lamb.
He gets his call sign because it sounds weak when he’s actually strong.
“Sir, we’re nearly there” a corporal said over the radio.
His nickname is ’ Reload’ because he is known to fire off an entire round at once.
“Good, lets lock ’n’ load team” Terminator replied
In 1 minute the APC’s stopped and everyone jumped out and the team assembled.
“Okay, Headshot, take sniper”
“Roger that, I’ll set up my Barett M82A1A rifle”
“Squad 2 report in”
“reporting in Terminator” said Cpl. Sarah Henley call sign ‘ Daisy cutter’.
“Squad 3 report in” terminator said over the intercom
“Squad 3 reporting in” said Reload
“Okay team, On my count …3...2...1...GO!”
BOOM! The door was blown off the hinges by the C4 explosives.
Squad 1, with Terminator in charge entered guns up.
Terminator was the first to go in and saw a turret machine gun with an auto aiming laser.
Phew! Phew! Phew!
The bullets ricochet off the metal walls and crates around the room while Terminator and his squad ducked low behind them.
“Hippo, move up left to blast that turret with your M203 grenade launcher”
“Roger that” Hippo replied
Hippo gets his nickname because he’s big and muscly like a hippo.
Then a bullet ricochet off the wall behind them hitting Rosie, a young corporal.
She lay on the floor in pain as the others stayed crouched
“The rest of you move right”
“Roger Terminator”
They moved right when.
BOOM! The turret blew up.

On the other side of the building Squad 2 stood ready to get in.
"Go!"
Daisy cutter kicked the door in and fired as they entered.
The team nailed two french bastards in that.
The squad moved up while throwing a flash into the next room.
A bright light shone through the dorway.
The team entered, Daisy Cuttert fired her MP-5N into the left of the room while Johnny fired into the right.
"Johnny" is a name given to him when he was caught looking at porn in training and it was a 'Johnny's favourite special'.
All the french present were killed easily.

Squad 3 entered a back door as Reload entered the room he sprayed the room with bullets from his MP-5.
He managed to hit anything except the walls.
Then once he reloaded his other 4 squad members aimed at the next doorway as three soldiers stood in the doorway firing their french made FAMAS rifles.
rat-a-tat-tat
They took down 2 marines before being masacred by the other 2 as well as Reload.
Reload, soon followed by the others into the next room, the last one to the warehouse.
The warehouse was according to intelligence houses the object that needs to be captured by the USMC.

That object is a Missile.
Actually its an ICBM(Intercontinental Ballistic Missile).
That ICBM was stolen from a US military facility in far northern egypt.
A team of highly trained special forces units went in and stole the warhead along with the missile.
That team has not yet been identified.

Reload threw a Flashbang grenade into the warehouse.
A bright light shone through the doorway.
They entered MP-5's up.
They sweeped the room.
No one was there just a large object in the middle of the room with a symbol on it.
"Terminator, this is reload we found the object in the wareh....."
Then there was a loud metallic sound from the ceiling.
A metal grate fell onto the floor.
"****!, we're taking heavy fire"
Two soldiers were in the vent with a couple of FAMAS's assault rifle's
They mowed down one each second both very coordinated.
Reload sprayed the vent with bullest from his MP-5.
Everyone lay on the floor except him, who was the only one to have reacted quick enough.
Reload reloaded and radioed terminator
"Terminator, we have heavy losses"
"How did that happen?"
"Ambush, Hurry up and get here"
"Okay, I'll come to the?"
"Warehouse".

Squad 2 entered a room that was empty and saw a bomb.
It beeped faster and faster each second.
Daisy Cutter inspected it.
It's a french made weapon again.
No time to disarm it.
BOOM!
The room exploded in a flash of yellow.
There was nothing left save for a black scorchmark courtesy of a Thermal Bomb.

Squad 1 called for reinforcements on their way to the warehouse.

Meanwhile Reload threw a frag towards the machine gunner and his vehicle.
It exploded killing a guy with a FAMAS and slow reactions.
"Reload, give us cover fire"
Reload leaned out from behind the ICBM and gave suppressing fire to the FAL machine gunner
Squad 1 came out using a 'V' formation.
The team that was left was alot smaller than what arrived.
They went from 18 to 6 in 10 minutes.
One of Squad 1's machine gunner was hit in the neck by a bullet.
5 left.
The sub-machine gunner was hit in the nose.
4 left
"****!, we need REINFORCEMENTS NOW!, WE ARE DOWN TO 4...****..3 LEFT"
"Roger that, USMC force including M1A1 Abrams is en route, ETA 0:05 minutes"
The remaining three retreated.
The team M203 specialist blasted the machine gunner killing him just before a new force of 2 APC's arrived.
Each carrying 6 men.
The M203 specialist got out a miniture rocket launcher and shot one of the APC's.
The rocket hit the fuel tank causing a massive explosion blowing up both APC's.
The team started disarming the nuclear warhead when another APC arrived.
"What is this?, a mother****ing seminar"
Terminator picked up one of Squad 3's M-4 scoped rifle.
Terminator firerd his newly aquired weapon.
He hit two in the first two seconds.
Then terminator got hit followed by Reload and the M203 expert a guy called ' Fairy' because someone thought he was gay but soon discovered that he had a wife, a hot one at that.

Soon after Terminator woke.
"Forward team, where are you?"
Then a soldier with an IMI Desert Eagle came up to Terminator.
Terminator looked at his kevlar uniform.
It had a French Flag on it as well as two rank insignia's.
French.
Ah!, now it makes sense with the french weapons and methods.
He started to think about this station being the french.
Bang! Bang !Bang!
Terminator was shot in the head.
Or so he thought.
The bullets were stopped by the kevlar helmet.
He pulled out a flash and it's pin.
A bright white light shone.
He got up and ran out of the warehouse before the others came over to the ICBM.
Terminator slowed slightly on his way there due to an injury sustained in a French training excercise where he was ambushed by a gorup of French Terrorists.

"Sir, General Granger has arrived"
"what's happened so far?"
"All the team is dead"
"****!"
The army of USMC forces gathered around the command centre waiting for their orders.
General Granger ordered his units to use full force when attacking the French facility and to retreive the ICBM.
"Has our base that it was stolen from identified the type of missile?"
"yes sir, It's a....."
"go on"
"It's a......Nuclear Missile with a Thermo nuclear warhead"
"****!, get that nuke"
First an Aurora Bomber flew in and dropped a Fuel Air bomb.
It burst spreading fuel particles everywhere.
Then a spark from the bomb ignited the fuel burning the building.
Followed by the Abrams which fired several shells into the side of the building.
The facility was now burned on the outside and full of holes in the walls.
Most spectacularly the Infantry moved in in their masses.
Half of them flanking around the research facility.
They fired several flashbangs from their grenade launchers.
The grenades went into the doorways and exploded in a flash of white light.
The team entered and saw nothing except already dead bodies and one blind french soldier.
They shot them down with their MP-5's.
The next wave of infantry arrived via APC's.
The USMC sweeped around the back to cut off the french retreat.
The USMC fired their MP-5's out the window and hit their target.
One enemy APC blew up as it was hit in the fuel tank by several hundred bullets.
The truck carrying the Nuke was far ahead of the USMC so General Granger called in an air-strike.
A small group of F-22 raptors flew in and fired their missiles at the truck.
It had an Electronic Counter-measure causing the missiles to curve around hit a couple of french Crotales.
Crotales are a small buggy type vehicle with the missiles on the top to shoot down aircraft.
The French Crotales that were left fired their heat seeking anti-aircraft missiles.
The missiles quickly converged on the raptors and soon were hit.
BOOM!
All five went down as a couple of pilots parachuted out.
They were quickly killed by some french machine gunner using a minigun from a Super Puma transport helicopter.
The USMC ground force moved up to follow the truck and nuke.
BOOM!
A tomahawk missile hit one of the Abrams.
It lay there in ruin.
Then another couple of tomahawks hit the Abrams.
General Granger sent in a commanche with rocket pods and ECM fields.
The commanche fired its machine gun at the leclerc tanks that were modified to fire tomahawks.
The bullets susprisingly did damage.
It fired a few more rockets at a few of the leclerc's.
They blew up as they fired a tomahawk which as it went past hit the commanches machine gun bending it.
The commanche was heading back to base to refill its ammo supply.
Clunk!
Something hit the commanche.
Then it climbed in!.
"Hey there" terminator said
He controlled the commanche and blew up a couple of leclercs.

Damn! out of rockets.
Another couple of leclercs fired their missiles.
He threw a high explosive charge out the helicopter onto one of the leclerc's.
It exploded taking out the last three leclercs.
The USMC army continued following the truck.
Then the tanks came to a canyon that could only let through two tanks at a time.
Terminator abandoned the commanche.
BOOM!
All of a sudden the infantry started dropping like flies.
"Oh **** the French, I was bad enough when they attacked me and my group at a training excercise in France than this ****" terminator said.
Then Terminator saw a small slightly noticable lump with rifle flare coming out of it.
"Damn, I guess I better that them out"
Terminator picked up a very handy sniper rifle.
He aimed and fired.
He shot five times at the five rifle barrel flare's.
Then the lump dropped down lower.
"Got them".

Terminator hated the french after a training excercise in France where he was training for the USMC.
It was a targeting excercise using live ammunition for the first time.
Then while he was shooting targets he was ambushed by a group of French Terrorists known as the 'Lefevr Deufur'.
They killed all his superiors leaving him in charge where he commanded the ones that were left against the terrorists.
Evebtually after one day he won with only four guys left out of the fifty he trained with including his superiors.
They used sneaky tactics and weapons banned form use because of inhumanity.
Therefore he is still slightly tramatised.

Then a swarm of twenty super pumas swept over the valley.
Bullets and rockets flew everywhere.
General Granger activated his Particle Beam, which is a laser sort of weapon using particles to destroy.
The beam swept over the swarm of Super pumas and destroyed them all in ten seconds.
Then the beam swept over the USMC APC's.
Then it stopped with only three APC's left.
With nothing left between the nuke truck and the APC's.
They converged around it and stopped it from moving and instantly started loading up the ICBM.
"Sir, we have the ICBM"
"Roger that, return to base"
Terminator ran to get a ride from the APC.
But on the way his knee caved in.
A memory of his training incident in France.
He fell and saw the APC's drive towards him.
He waved to stop the APC.
It stopped to let him on.
"Sir, the french base is awake, they seem to be preparing for something" a satellite controller said
"****, is that nuke we had even real"
"We'll check"
It went silent for a few seconds
"Sir, its a fake"
"Say what?" said General Granger
"Its not real"
"Damn, that means the french are preparing to launch a THERMO-NUCLEAR MISSILE"
Terminator sat in awe at that thought.
"Sir, we have a confirmed launch via satellite targeted at our base co-ordinates"
"Evacuate"
Terminator realised that he was in the blast radius.

The base had an air siren going.
Then a missile like object came from the sky.
It hit the ground.
The missile exploded in a flash of white hot light followed by a shockwave and a mushroom cloud.
The sand melted to glass and surrounding pyramids got flattened.
The base was flattened and the only thing left was a storm of radiation and uranium waste.
The radiation was blowing west with the wind.
Everyone died instantly.
The shockwaves spread out far.

Terminator saw the cloud out the back of the APC.
"Lets get the **** outta here" a sergeant said.
Terminator survived because he was out of the enitial blast radius but however felt the shockwaves and disabled all electrical eqipment not turned off including his headset.
"Everyone, lets take out this french base" but that guy got no answer because communications were knocked out for a 20 km radius.
Terminator unholstered Desert Eagle .50 cal and loaded a new mag.
He shot the driver of his side.
Then the commander.
Then the cpls. and pvts.
Everyone in that APC was dead.
He then swerved into the other APC and got a rocket launcher out.
A trail of smoke was left behind by a rocket.
It blew up the other APC.
The last APC turned to fire but got hit by another rocket.
All the USMC forces here except him were dead.
He killed everyone on his team because they told General Granger about the ICG and what really happened.
The ICG intercepted a message where some units in the USMC who were ICG were reporting it to General Granger.
General Granger supposedly was not a part of the ICG but only Terminator and a select few knew that he was in the ICG.
Thats why he destroyed most of his force along with the french but didn't get to finish his army off because he ran out of particles.
He was a new member to a group of people hired by the US government.
The ICG.
The ICG stood for 'intelligence covergence group' and was a goup of people that killed anyone that knew something they weren't meant to.
"Time to get these french bastards".
