Forever reclined gathering dust
Obscured in shadow and yet radiant still.
An un-hung lesson;
Half-finished roof, forest façade, paper-white sky,
A graphite path leading to a watercolor wall.
An un-hung reminder;
How to handle brush and pen,
Red paint in the green trees, an accidental autumn in an image of spring.
