(Read that last stanza carefully and tell me how you interpret it please ;])

Philosophy

Thinking about thinking.
Weed out the bad and ignorant,
plant the seed in your brain
with the remaining answers.
Is there really an answer to
God, Ethics, Immortality, and
What makes us beings?

The job of the wise is to
make you subjected to the
reality of how little you
actually know. To be wise
is to be aware of your own
ignorance... I am a
Victim.

It’s life, we may never
Fully understand it.
There is an infinite amount
Of knowledge, but do our
Minds have the capacity to
keep up with the universe?
Maybe every soul
has a reason to keep and
specialize in his own right, his
sanity, his love, his self-advancement.
Vanity is cruel.

We are driving
through vague roads,
and more and more
we see the fine line.
Swerve to the left, a little to the
right, but eventually caught
and put back on the track that is:
human consciousness and knowledge,
but then again what would
I know.

Looking Through Leaves

To protect and conceal…
A baby girl looks over her
mothers shoulder and through
the leaves, walking in front
of me. Taking a Risk,
vulnerable to the Consequences
of what she may See.
The definition of innocence
spoiled by her green eyes.
Oh how I dread the fall of her days!

And so she stares on at me
“Shall I do a trick?”
I find myself making gestures
and faces to please the little
eyes. She smiles and giggles
with drool oozing off her single
tooth, but what am I really doing.
Life will not always be
candy trains and eatable houses,
there is structure; None able to
defy, but innocence of that found
in a little girl. So I continue to
feed the little girl her entertainment,
from a timed spoon. There
is no need to spoil the genuine
curiosity which comes with
the ignorance of innocence...
Waiting for the fall to arrive.

I put a mask on the world for
that little girl for a short time.
then I saw her walk away
still looking through
the leaves of her mothers
branches, still open to losing
her purity any second. But
what is life with out taking
that chance and realizing
for yourself? I hope
the Fall never comes for her...

A Tick in Time

I look at the clock and see
This so-called time adjusts to
A flinch, a reflex of time?
What causes time to be
Measured by tick’s and tock’s.
And so it goes on, never stopping
Never pausing.

Until it is time to flip over the
Hour-glass; we’ll be spending
Every last grain of sand together.
