So physically close to me,
I can feel her innocent skin.
So emotionally far from me,
I cannot touch her beautiful heart.
This shattering notion haunts,
Constantly piercing my thoughts.
Over and over again and again,
Myself I try convincing each day.
She is not the thing I require,
Elsewhere bliss I seek resides.
Even the darkest of lies,
Will not blind truths big, bright eyes.
Now and forever the void exists,
My heart sporting an open hole gaping.
If forgetting her cured this,
I'd decline of course with haste.
A long life of sad, tormenting rainfall,
Is worth more than one without her at all.
