plain geometry
.
I have a passionate
interest in,
angles, triangles
and wedges thin!

Of this wild obsession
I can't get rid.
I love my wife,
But, OH EUCLID!"

I like the way you rhymed 'rid' and 'Euclid.' Cute.

In real? life, I had all kinds of trouble with geometry in class! More to do with the manner in which some proofs were arrived at, rather than the ability to apply it!

This is a beautiful poem and the poet writes in imageries and metaphors.

This is so short yet but deepening.

I like this 'cause it's interesting...
and I mirror your objectifying of the lines and shapes of certain 'parts',
because simplification helps to know what you're looking at.

I enjoy your promiscuity,
because you can't stop looking at other shapes,
outside of your home.

good job!

OH EUCLID!" is a delightful play on words! (Which leads me to wonder if your screen name might be intended as one as well!)

I get these moments of levity! Have yet to post any of my more somber pieces. Don't want to infect anyone through contact with any of my "black dog day" poems.

I have NO idea what you mean.

Anyway, enjoy your woman, and don't cut her into shape.

Having fun with geometry may sound a little peculiar to some but, I have been describe as a lot more bizzare than that...and we have not moved outside of my circle of friends, as of yet!:(

Cut her? The last time knives were drawn...I ended up as the ginger-bread man!
