how do we measure a moment?
in time, emotion, significance?
when does it end, where does it go?
is it a state of decadence?

is life one moment?
or comprised of many?
is everything a memory?
or is there even any?

the second it starts
it`s destined to end
the instant it`s over
another will mend

these memories will fade
this mind will go dull
and i will be left
with an empty skull

and after life has faded away
when my consciousness soars
i`ll allways have the moment
where my life met yours...

I like your thoughtful pondering of the significance of a single moment in our lives.

Lucid, I liked it; it's meaning, rhyme, and it's intriguing as well.
