Of course we all know that some of our favorite authors penned the majority (if not all) of their famous works under a pseudonym; Mark Twain, George Orwell, O. Henry, and the immortal Dr. Seuss (one of the best pen names ever!). I was reading an article about why some people go by different names, and it got me thinking: What would my pseudonym be?

So here's a chance to share your pseudonyms with the world. They can be serious, whimsical, or just down right silly. I, of course, am going with the latter. So if you ever see anything published by a Winchester P. McDougle make sure you think of me... and buy it... I could use the dough!

LOL, djy78USA, that is the best pseudonym ever. If I ever see a Winchester P. McDougle book I'll be sure to grab it right away. ;)

Winchester P. McDougle, WinchesterP. McDougle, hah! It just rolls right off the tongue. Wow, from now on I'm going to repeat that name to calm myself down when I get angry.

My pseudonym? Meh, I'll just go with an embellished version of my real name.

I've not think about a pseudonym, but I am sure if One day I write a book, I use a pseudonym, not my own name. It seems I have to find one :D

Jonathan Ben. Just dropped the Israel from my real name. Was going to go with Ben Jonson, but it was taken, twice.

Well, over the years I have been granted many little names by family members and friends. So, I might choose from among those.

I don't like pseudonyms, it's like someone else wrote it for you, and you can't credit the work for yourself.
