So are there any avid tennis fans here besides me? The French Open is in full-swing, and there is no shortage of compelling stories to accompany it.

Mainly cheering for Murray - a welcome change from boring Henman. In general my schedule doesnt really let me watch the action so I have to suffice with whatever they show on the highlight packages on sportscentre

I like to watch tennis. I'll usually just watch the US Open and Wimbledon. Of the women, who's playing ? What do you think of the William's sisters? To a degree I think they are overrated. Without their power how good are they ?

I'm a big fan of tennis, amongst other sports, and always a faithful Federer fan.The man represents pretty much everything a sportsman should.

I completely agree; I'm a die-hard Federer fan, and I've been very disappointed by his struggles and the fact that he didn't win the Australian Open (though as my dad pointed out, if every Grand Slam were a completely forgone conclusion, there would be no fun in watching it). Do you think he has a chance of taking the French this year? He was playing well (if not well enough) against Nadal on clay this year.

He did play quite well - both in Rome and Hamburg.Basically,he should've won both matches, but once again, they were prime examples of how Nadal should never be considered beaten.I just looked at the draw,Nadal will,if everything goes as expected, play Djokovic in the semis, and Federer will play Davydenko, which is good, because,in my opinion,Federer stands a better chance of beating Nadal in the final right now than Djokovic in the semis for instance - don't know why, just a hunch really.I hope he wins, that'll be final proof that he still is the best.

Still, even though both Nadal and Djokovic will probably surpass him, there isn't a single player in the world who's nearly as elegant of a player as Federer is - it's still a joy to watch him.

I love to follow the major tournaments although i'm no tennis player myself. I was very sorry to see Guga go, I was a big fan of his.

I'm hoping that Federer finally conquers Roland Garros. That would really be grand!
