I am nothing all I do here
Impressing you that I am a poet
This is nonsense

I was merely a cowherd
A peasant working on farm
A vacuum only

You stuffed me with ideas
You installed software
Programmed my course
Shaped and molded

Born in a mountain
Busing with watching cattle
You took me to a city
Versed me with all you call modern education

But what education is but garbage
I am tougher and rougher than what I was

Now reality is biting me, your reality is a sharp knife
Mine was rosily delicate
For I sang with nature
And yours is the clamor of chaos

I am not a poet
All you get from me is your own reflections
This poem cascading from my mind too is yours
Recycling only.

I liked this Blaze. Your english is a little rough in spots, but that's understandable. Very good imagery throughout, mixing the pastural and the modern to make a point. I enjoyed this.

Blaze, like Virgil stated, the imagery of this poem is really lovely!

For I sang with nature
And yours is the clamor of chaos

The above lines are really great! :thumbs_up

This is an attempt and I have yet to sharpen the skill of writing poetry. It is really a challenge to go across.

I am still at the bottom, the peak is invisible.

Are we not all cowherds cultivating our friends? You write the truth, and I am humbled by it, but you are more than nothing. You are insight, and kindness, and love overflowing... you are my friend. B

I feel like I'm learning everyday something new here. We're all helping each other and helping each other grow. That is how we rise holding each others hand. I just cannot stand without taking name of so many people here in this forum who are really helpful and I feel lucky to be a member of LitNet. This is how we learn. And Blaze, you're definitely a good poet showering philosophical and knowledgeable poems to this forum. Keep up your good work Blaze. As B-mental stated, you're also my friend. Love you! :thumbs_up
