Something has happened
Where I’ve come to
Struggle to understand
What I’ve gotten myself into.
What have I become?
Am I the damsel in distress
Awaiting her chivalrous knight?
Or am I the lonely heroine,
A Louis Lane without a Superman?
What am I to do when I fall?
Who will be there to catch me?
Why has this happened?
Why am I longing…
….to be with you?

hmm.. i liked it, how the ending of longing connotes distress! your poem caught me at a good time, lovelylucretia; i'm more or less bouncing around that feeling right now.

For you are afraid of loneliness, to be alone or remaining confined within the range of your life only is not possible and you want someone to guard you.

But don’t we all dream of a hero
Who will someday coming to ones rescue?
The one true love who finally arrives
To be with one forevermore.
Or has this only become a child’s
Silly little dream?

Telling
Telling a beautiful story
Through bittersweet movement
Like the elegant ballet
That brings cascading tears down your cheeks
The moon surpassing the sun
Just stand there and watch
As two personalities eclipse each other
Once in a very long life time
A tiny miracle taken for granted
By many who stand to watch
The glorious actions
The grandeur of surpassing
A global event
The moon leaves the sun
Two personalities parting
Leaving only the serene light
To rule sky once more
Light sweeping through old bitter crevices
Surpassing the darkness now forevermore
