nightmares?

i think mine would have to do with snakes or so.. i mean, i don;t really consider them nightmares since snakes are not so negative symbols when it comes to dream interpretation but i don;t like snakes and of course, while i treat sleeping and dreams as an almost-reality i don;t like seeing them when my eyes are closed...

for some reason i dream of snakes a lot. itccould mean that power, what snakes are supposed to symolize, is a dominant thing in my life, but i wish power had picked a more... pleasing symbol. (no offense to those who are fond of snakes, by the way)..

i think my worst nightmare had to do with snakes filling my room and me turning everywhere with snakes everywhere! (imagine what a fitful night of sleep that was!)

I believe my worst nightmare would be drowning. I have this intense fear of deep water for some reason.

But worst nightmare that I've ever had would be this one I had a couple years ago. I had a dream I was getting stalked by a knife-wielding pedophile through a secluded mansion, and I couldn't find my way out. It was BEYOND scary! I woke up from that dream crying

I had a dream recently where Someone was trying to kill me!

There was also one where this other person was trying to kill my baby tht I don't have...but I felt as if the child were really mine in the dream. And in the dream, I was so scared for my child(as much as a mother would for her child) I saved her though, so what started as a nightmare ended on a good note.

Of course I would be freaked out too! And the fact thay your boyfriend didn't care would, If I were in your shoes, made me freak out even more!

I hate scary movies, they're lame. I think that I just had a bizarre childhood, I talk about "materials that some people may find disturbing" pretty frequently without realizing it. That's probably why my dreams are effed up too.

Example: last night, I dreamed that I was playing an MMO (massive multiplayer online) puzzle video game and just as I solved the puzzle and was going for the prize, some girl's character came out of nowhere and swiped it. I solved the puzzle, I should get the prize. I have never felt so cheated in my life.

I did what any rational human being would do: I tracked her down in real life, challenged her to a swimming competition, then held her underwater until she was dead. Problem solved.

When I woke up, I was freaked out by how psychotic this dream was but I also thought it was pretty funny that my dream self went all homicidal over an MMORPG.

My worst ever real moment was when my job was listening to the Russian Air Force, and this particular pilot asked permission to fire at an aircraft that had (deliberately) wandered in to their airspace. What made it worse was that I was on the aircraft in question. You have to keep this cool, calm, collected voice, and report to the Captain, all matter-of-fact what 's going on, but your voice wants to go up three octaves. The Sov pilot was rubbish, fortunately, but what was meant to be a warning shot across our nose went over and under our starboard wing. The bloke on the other side of the aeroplane reported having seen green tracer. Adrenalin is brown.

The worst nightmare, as in dream, was when I was a kid, and I got this recurring dream of being chased by a witch, on a tractor. Big, bright orangey-red thing. The dream just stopped when I was about 12, but it suddenly came back, identical in every detail about 3 weeks ago. Is this the start of my second childhood?!?

I dreamed my violent ex-partner informed me that we were destined to spend our lives together but he could not accept me until I learned the true meaning of love. I did everything I could in a bid to gain his approval but each time, he would sneer, slap me or turn his back and say 'you haven't got it right yet' I was desperate to make things right and started going to greater and greater lengths to get his attention, even disrobing in front of him but to his disgust. I was trapped in the cycle of not wanting to be with him, accepting my fate and trying to make it somehow palatable. arrrrgh!

How things have changed. We all used to worry about nuclear war with the Soviets - especially when the early warning system near us went off one morning! I was blissfully unaware whilst my mates were jittery.

My worst real life nightmare was overbalancing at the top of the stairs with my 9 month old son clutched by one arm. I had to run down the stairs at an increasing rate of knots, not scrape him against the wall and not fall over. I was as white as a sheet, and had bruised feet. It sends me into shivers even now 17 years later. We has glass panels in the door too.

Getting shot and feeling the searing heat from the bullets entering my back and the warmth of the blood as it poured out, then scene changed, I was on a cold metal tray being pulled out like a drawer and my mother stood looking down at me nodded then turned toward the door.

I could feel all these things (which I thought was very odd) and see myself, but I was looking at them as though it were a movie.

Strangest dream I've ever had, and frightening too, so I suppose it was a nightmare.

That I go to work in my underwear thinking its just a dream and start pinching myself and then the cops get called and they see the blotchy bruises on my arms and the self-pinching and I get carted off to the funny house while still in my underwear.
