Dope Clown

Greetings, I'm new to this board, and I write poetry on and off whenever I feel inspired. The second poem is under construction so to speak, but I would still love input on it.

Unsettling Feeling
- Copyright Niclas "Dope Clown" Larsson 2004.

I have an unsettling feeling
It came from nowhere and I don't know why
Chest is burning and my heart jumps high
Nuclear pressure wave hitting
All that is left is a lingering sense of worry
The aimless search for a source
But why?

Thirst bothers me but it does not consume me
Empty and alone it sits by the side of my hand
Small noises echoes from side to side
An occasional electronic pling
My eyebrows move as I think of a possibility
I hope everything will be ok
But why the feeling?

Red light is flying over blue fabric
Silence is shattered merely by a fan
The scar burns as if it is trying to tell me something
Small bubbles jump up while some sit at the edge
Clarity hits as smiles come up
Solution may have come easier than the answer to the riddle
Because it works that way

Objective Subjectivity
- Copyright Niclas "Dope Clown" Larsson 2004.

In a universe so black, a river resides with water so clear
Swimming in an unknown direction, I try to find a way
Fear of falling out into the darkness is etched into me
Drowning is not an acceptable option at this time

There’s no up, there’s no down
Left and right are but illusions

Far away a horizon can be seen, so dreary and blue
Indifference and arrogance keeps things in order
Admitting to common ground is an atrocious act
Craving capital punishment of the highest degree

There’s no up, there’s no down
Left and right are but illusions

Sinking like a stone through the water
Falling out from the river at an inhuman speed
Hitting the dark moist stone ground
Empty space all around, dreary blue in the horizon

There’s no up, there’s no down
Left and right are but illusions

Personal demons haunts my thoughts, a crunching sound
Cold sweating paranoia, shadows move around
