Is it a sin to love someone?
To love them so much that, come day or night
They continually possess your thoughts.
When you long for them…
Yearn for their company so much,
That deep within you a terrible ache pulls at you
With every lonely heartbeat…
When you touch the sweet, soft clouds in their presence,
And cry in boundless voids of emptiness when they are gone;
When your dreams are filled with misty visions
And intricate, delicate, unreachable bliss…
When another person becomes your world,
And your entire universe is shattered,
Is it a sin to love them so?
Perhaps it is, oh such a bitter, cold truth!
Yet in the end you realize,
That no matter what, you cannot let them go.
To love them so much that, come day or night
They continually possess your thoughts.
When you long for them…
Yearn for their company so much,
That deep within you a terrible ache pulls at you
With every lonely heartbeat…
When you touch the sweet, soft clouds in their presence,
And cry in boundless voids of emptiness when they are gone;
When your dreams are filled with misty visions
And intricate, delicate, unreachable bliss…
When another person becomes your world,
And your entire universe is shattered,
Is it a sin to love them so?
Perhaps it is, oh such a bitter, cold truth!
Yet in the end you realize,
That no matter what, you cannot let them go.
